Workspace for Creatives

& Coffee; The Workers Coffee Shop is a place for work, close to home, with all the comforts of the traditional coffee shop and all the amenities of a formal workplace.

Historically, the formal workplace designed for “traditional” workers was optimal for most. Now, our holistic understanding of the wellbeing of workers is increasing with time and technology, and we see a clear need for an alternative workplace.

Focusing on “right brained” individuals whose workflow depends on their creativity, we discovered a combination of sensory and spatial attributes that allow the worker optimal focus, productivity, and happiness.

Project Brief: A research-focused sophomore studio examining a local landfill through the lens of "time," the instructions including identifying a problem in the waste cycle and proposing a thoughtful solution.
